一九七八年度香港小姐競選 |

香港小姐競選乃一年一度之盛大選美活動，每年誕生的香港小姐，會代表香港參加國際性的選美活動，並在香港旅遊協會安排下，以「香港親善大使」身份遠遊訪問，宣揚香港的特色，敦睦友誼，而在本港，也能達到親善睦鄰的目的。
1978年度香港小姐競選準決賽於五月廿一日在利舞台舉行，而決賽則於五月廿八日舉行，本年度冠軍代表香港參加在墨西哥舉行的環球小姐競選，亞軍參加在英國舉行的世界小姐競選，季軍則參加在日本舉行的國際小姐競選。

The Miss Hong Kong Pageant is an annual event noted for its grandeur and spectacularity. The title winner, 1st and 2nd runners-up represented Hong Kong in the international beauty contests.
