香港小姐競選乃一年一度之盛大選美活動，每年誕生的香港小姐，會代表香港參加國際性的選美活動，並在香港旅遊協會安排下，以「香港親善大使」身份出外遠遊訪問，宣揚香港的特色，敦睦友誼，而在本港，亦達到親善睦鄰的目的。
