歷年以來，香港小姐競選經已成為香港市民每年關注的一大活動，每年誕生深具美貌與智慧兼備的香港小姐，在海外負起親善大使使命，宣揚香港，敦睦友誼，在本港則達成親善睦鄰任務。
本年度香港小姐競選準決賽於五月九日在TVB舉行，總決賽則在五月十六日日舉行。
