電視廣播有限公司銀禧盛典，香港小姐競選今年亦欣逢二十週年，大會不惜工本，大事慶祝，務求令這個每年一度的全城盛事辦得有聲有色。
今年，大會以「發放廿載光華，燃點選美文化」為今屆香港小姐競選主題。大會特於三月十三日及十四日假金鐘廊展覽廳舉行「香港小姐二十週年展覽」，展出歷屆香港小姐競選有關資料，並即場傳授有關面試、化粧及儀態等心得。
欣逢香港小姐競選二十週年，大會特增設「香港小姐廿載金輝大獎」榮銜，使香港小姐冠軍佳麗兼得到既有紀念性而又特別的榮譽...

To mark the Silver Jubilee year and celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Miss Hong Kong 1992 Pageant, TVB is devoted to marking this year's Pageant one of the most glamorous and exciting events of the territory.
The Pageant's Project Committee has therefore chosen "In its glorious 20 years shines the Pageant of everlasting beauty" as this year's theme and slogan.
On March 13 and 14, an exhibition marking the 20th Anniversary of the Miss Hong Kong Pageant was held at Queensway Exhibition Hall and it was well attended by members of the public. Seminars were also held for the public to ask about various aspects of the Pageant, such as the techniques of interviews, the art of make-up and deportment of the contestants...
To make this year's Pageant even more attractive, a special 20th Anniversary Golden Elegance Award will be given to this year's title winner.
